Join us as Black Techno Matters presents a very special evening of music from the legendary selector Dee Clark who will be treating us to an all vinyl set of records from 1990-93, the years that the original New Eagle Creek Saloon was open. Come with the good vibes and be ready to jive as we recreate this "friendly place, with a funky bass, for every race.”
About Black Techno Matters
Founded out of the need for a platform to uplift black artistry in techno music, Bernard Farley started Black Techno Matters, a collective on a mission to reclaim techno as a manifestation of black expression. The collective creates online and in-person spaces that celebrate the black origins of techno, champion the originators of the genre and gives a space for new creatives to find their voices as artists.
Since its start in 2019 , Black Techno Matters has grown into a collective, organizing events, playlists, mixes, music releases, and other resources highlighting and celebrating hundreds of black artists from around the world.
